Springwell is Moving: A new Home on Sligo Creek!
We are thrilled to share that this fall, Springwell School will be moving to a new campus at the Memorial First India United Methodist Church, located at 9226 Colesville Road in Silver Spring, Maryland. This location is just three blocks south of our current campus, right on Sligo Creek and even closer to downtown Silver Spring.
This beautiful property offers:
Six sunny classrooms, purpose-built for school use, with northeastern windows spanning the entire length — dedicated exclusively to Springwell (no shared landlord/tenant spaces). One of these rooms will be used as office space.
A five-year lease with the option of an additional classroom for growth, ensuring long-term stability for our school community in this next phase.
Direct access to Sligo Creek and its walking trail, leading to both the creek and a nearby neighborhood playground — perfect for exploration, nature study, art, and science.

A sustainable lease rate, providing Springwell with a strong financial foundation for the years ahead.
Once permits, construction, and inspections are complete, we anticipate moving into our new space by late October.
